Beautiful Basil!

Hi Meg ....Basil is going really really well, we love him to bits, he is just so adorable! And I must praise you on what a great job you have done in regards to his toilet training, he is doing so well with it, I’ve even taught him to use the doggy door and he is actually using it.

He understands the “sit” command quite well and we also use “manners” when feeding which he is also getting the knack of. We have been crating him of a night time and that is working brilliantly, most nights he will sleep right through the night.

In terms of mixing with our other two dogs Sultan (standard poodle) and Peppa (mini schnauzer), he was a bit frightened at first so we put Peppa on her harness and lead as she was quite boisterous with Basil and by Sunday afternoon I let her off the lead as she had settled down a lot. She is playing lots with Basil and is quite gentle with him, he loves chasing after her, trying to get the toy or ball from her and Peppa loves being chased! Sultan being 14 yrs old, still isn’t quite sure but he’ll get there eventually, he was the same with Peppa when we first brought her home at 8 weeks.

He has already grown a bit more too and loves his food. He is such a happy little puppy.... Megan
