Boomer's color

Hi Meg and everyone...
Boomer is an 11-months-old boy and still now I don't his color :-(

Some people told me he is a salt and pepper schnauzer, but he seems more black and silver than any other color... Please, how can I identify his color? Take a look in his picture and let me know your thoughts. If he is black and silver I hope he won't receive any kind of prejudice :-(.

MEG: Boomer looks like a classic black and silver schnauzer in these pics. As a puppy, unlike a black and silver, a pepper and salt would have some silver hairs in its body coat somewhere... behind the ears is a good place to look. It would then fade into pepper and salt.
