Hi Meg,

Well, now Keira is 6 months old, and we thought it was a good time to catch you up with how she is going 🙂

Firstly, we would love to thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to have our beautiful little dog in our lives. Keira is such a pleasure to have in our family – she has a cheeky little personality, and is so loving and affectionate as well 🙂 We could never have imagined how well she has fit into our lives, and how much joy she has brought us over the last 6 months. We want to thank you for all of the hard work you put into her first 8 weeks, as it helped to shape her into a clever, inquisitive, energetic, and loving pet.

So Keira has grown to about 5.5kgs, and is still the perfect size to sit on your lap and cuddle, as well as run around and keep up with her doggy friends. We have found two other schnauzers in our neighbourhood (One of them has the same dad as Keira!), as well as two of our other friends’ puppies that Keira regularly gets to sociallise and play with, as she is a very sociable dog, with no dominant or disruptive behaviour with other dogs. She also says hello to other dogs on her walks, and is very friendly.

Keira is also very very good with other people. She is inquisitive, and likes to go and say hello. All of our friends and family love her to death, and we have a queue of babysitters if we ever go away 🙂 She is good with children, and doesn’t jump up on them – although sometimes she gets very excited! She is great with the vet and the groomer, and just likes to lick their faces 🙂 She sailed through puppy pre-school, and we are planning to do more training with her in November.

From the day we took her home, Keira has been a great sleeper, especially since she gets at least one walk a day. She is also always been very good with toileting, and can hold her bladder overnight with no problems. She is still loving her raw food diet of chicken necks, beef tail, kangaroo meat, and left-overs 🙂

Overall, Keira is perfect for our family. Thankyou again, and we hope you enjoy the photos we have attatched 🙂 We may want to get another mini schnauzer in the next few years, and we know where to go! 🙂
