Normal Behavior?

Just rescued a beautiful little Mini-Schnauzer that was a stray and have decided to keep it. Looks like somebody dumped the dog. Had no collar and no ID chip. Took it to the vet and he estimated the age at about 2 years or a little younger. Seems to be a healthy dog and extremely affectionate. Also seems to be house-broken and crate trained. I’m personally a large dog lover, but when I saw this dog and had it around for a few days, got attached to it. Wife also got attached to it, too. Taking it to the vet next week to get it’s shots and get a good physical exam. They will also groom it and get a bunch of matting off it’s fur it picked up by being outside in the weeds for several days. It doesn’t seem to bark hardly at all and is a very “calm” dog. Wants to follow you all around the house and when it’s 9:00 pm it lays down and goes to sleep usually half laying on your leg or foot. I would have expected more energy out of a small dog that’s only two years old, but maybe that’s how this dog is. Anyway, she’s pretty much a “perfect” dog for two older people who don’t have any children in the house. Don’t have an actual pic of this dog, but the one I have attached is almost an exact likeness.

MEG: SOUNDS LIKE A LOVELY LITTLE GIRL. DON’T WORRY – THIS BREED ARE EXCITED TO GET OUT FOR A ROUTINE ROMP AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD EVERY MORNING, BUT ARE THEN VERY HAPPY TO SLEEP FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.
