Hi Giovanni Your little guy looks like a very dark pepper and salt to me. If he has ANY "salt" (pale grey) colored hairs on his torso/body at all then he is a pepper and salt. Schnauzers have a fading gene and most get lighter in color as they get older. I think you will find he will likewise fade into a lighter, more usual pepper and salt within a year or two. Cheers Meg
